First world finalists revealed

Babine Truck & Equipment, the VISTA team from Prince George, Canada, have become the first to qualify for the VISTA 2012-2013 world final after winning the North American semi final.

Five teams from the US and Canada took part in the semi final, which was held in Greenboro, US, on March 14. Each team qualified after performing strongly in the preliminary rounds amongst a record field of 209 registered teams. By finishing first, Babine Truck & Equipment have clinched their ticket to Gothenburg and can now claim a spot amongst the best 32 teams in the world.

For North America, VISTA 2012–2013 has been the biggest competition ever with a 70 percent increase in dealer participation. Increased participation is key to the success of this competition. The higher the participation, the more training and more team development, which ultimately supports better customer satisfaction. Each of the five semi-finalist teams invested up to 34 hours of additional service training throughout their journey.
