Over the past three weeks, VISTA semi finals in Greensboro, Madrid and Curitiba, have generated extensive print, online and even television coverage from a number of media sources across the world.
April 18: The final day of competition in Madrid included semi finals for NAME (North Africa, Middle East) region and Volvo Buses.
April 17: The seventh VISTA semi final in Madrid saw ten teams from UK and Ireland compete in the morning session, followed by ten teams from Russia.
April 16: The sixth semi final to take place in Madrid saw an interesting mix of teams from South Africa, Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands.
April 11: 18 teams from Belarus, Ukraine, Israel, Greece, Portugal, Moldova, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey, competed together yesterday, in the Region East VISTA semi final.
Twenty teams from Lithuania, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Estonia, Poland and Slovenia, meet up in Madrid last Wednesday, for the Central East VISTA semi final. After a full day of competition, two Hungarian teams, Pevijola and Polgár1, qualified for the world final.
Finland’s contingent of teams at last week’s Nordic VISTA 2012-2013 semi final in Madrid, put in an exceptional performance claimed three of the four world final spots available.
Yesterday, 4th April, saw twenty teams from Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland arrive at the Volvo Training Centre in Madrid, to participate in the Nordic VISTA semi finals.
With the conclusion of the Italy, Spain and France VISTA semi finals, another five teams have now qualified for the world final. The winners were announced at an award ceremony last night in Madrid.
