This year’s edition of VISTA was a resounding success, with a total of 3,773 teams entering from all around the world. A “dream team” consists of two technicians and two colleagues working in administrative roles such as parts, warranty, or customer service. In the finals, held in Gothenburg, focus switched from theory to hand-on expertise, with the 43 qualifying teams moving between a series of stations and carrying out varied, fun challenges.
These included a VR challenge in which teams were given a task involving a virtual I-Shift gearbox, with which the team then could open a vault by putting in the correct gears. There was also a blindfolded remote-controlled truck challenge, in which participants were steered through a series of tricky challenges by their colleagues, and where trust and teamwork were really brought to the fore.
Anna Rogbrant, project manager and undisputed queen of VISTA, highlighted the blend of service expertise, teamwork and spirit that can propel a team to the top spot on the podium. As she puts it: “You need a good combination of skills, particularly ones that reflect the ways in which our industry is changing. But it’s also really important to see that team spirit. When people tackle problems and challenges as a team – instantly spotting where they’re best-equipped to help out and moving forwards together – that can make all the difference.”
“Derma X-Power displayed all of these qualities and more. They stood out in the face of some really tough competition. Well done!”
Now, the finalists who travelled to Sweden for this last leg of VISTA 2025-2026 are either returning or have already returned home. The VISTA team would like to thank them all – alongside every other team that took part in the competition – for the passion, engagement, skill and teamwork that combine to make VISTA such a truly special part of the Volvo calendar.
