Halfway to Gothenburg

As Round 2 of VISTA 2026 has ended, it’s official. We’ve reached the halfway point!
Two rounds in, and VISTA has already proven to be so much more than a competition. It’s about building stronger teams, getting to know each other better, and discovering each other’s strengths and weaknesses in a fun learning environment. We asked our teams to share some of their best VISTA memories, and the answers were truly heartwarming.
“Working with my team has been the best experience. We all specialize in different topics, from electrical, engines, transmission to suspension. Sharing information on the different topics has been a great eye-opener and a good balance of knowledge through the different rounds. Having teammates that you can depend on has made our chemistry the best it’s ever been.” – Team DERATE, Canada.
What makes VISTA special is the combination of fun and learning. When we enjoy ourselves together, we can also become more open to new ideas and techniques. Team Hasta la VISTA from the USA said it best:
“We always have fun working together. The most interesting is always when we are trying to come up with our name for the competition. We also make the competition fun all around because we don’t usually get to work so closely together and learn from each other. It also helps that we all have a wonderful sense of humor!”
In the end, it’s all about our customers. When we work better together and share our knowledge, we become more efficient. Trucks and buses get back on the road faster, and our customers can focus on what they do best – running their operations.
Round 3 takes place between February 11 – March 4. Your team still has time to earn more points, which could take you all the way to the final in Gothenburg, Sweden!
